When Tchaikovsky was in Prague in 1888, his overture-fantasy Romeo and Juliet was played at the Rudolfinum, and Swan Lake was performed at the National Theatre. He wrote: “A tremendous success. Swan Lake. A moment of absolute happiness.”
The programme is based on a musical part but also on a spoken word that will be given in Czech language only. The programme will not be supplied with English subtitles.
Subscriptions and individual concert tickets are available.
Those interested in subscription tickets can attend the concerts on 20 March 2024 and 21 March 2024.
Individual (non-subscription) tickets can only be ordered for the concert on 22 March 2024.
One teacher may order tickets for a maximum of 60 students for each of the concerts.
