Mariam Gviniashvili: ALEX AV LIVE | Performance | Art Sounds Poetics of Encryption

Mariam Gviniashvili: ALEX AV LIVE | Performance | Art Sounds ⬩ Poetics of Encryption

Join us on Tuesday, April 29 at Galerie Rudolfinum for ALEX AV LIVE – an immersive multichannel sound experience by Georgian composer and sound artist Mariam Gviniashvili. Set in the stunning Rudolfinum Ceremony Hall, the performance features 3–screen projection and enveloping immersive spatial sound.

ALEX explores the interplay between digital personas and the authentic self. It represents the masks we wear online and their power, becoming a tool for self-expression while blurring the lines between reality and identity. ALEX reflects both the joy we create and the harm we may cause. More than just the most common unisex avatar name, ALEX embodies our shared duality – a blend of me, you, and everyone around us.

The performance is an accompanying programme from the Art Sounds series to the exhibition Poetics of Encryption.
