Rudolfinum

Rudolfinum is a national cultural monument dedicated to music and visual arts as well as one of the most architecturally significant buildings in Prague.

Descriptions and Parameters

The majestic Rudolfinum building, built on the banks of the Vltava river in the very heart of Prague, was constructed in 1876-1884 according to the design by architects Josef Zítek and Josef Schulz. From the beginning, it was conceived as a multi-purpose cultural house, combining a gallery and a concert hall. This was perfectly achieved and Rudolfinum continues to fulfill its mission in the 21st century. It is home to the Czech Philharmonic, the Czech Chamber Music Society, and the Galerie Rudolfinum.

Suitable for organizing

  • Large social events with concerts in the Dvořák Hall and a banquet in the Main Hall
